Border Collie - male - 10 years and 8 months
Kin is a beautiful blonde border collie boy. He is very loyal and sweet but suffers from little to no training and separation anxiety which makes him a handful. He is very intelligent and does not like sharing with other dogs but is good around people and cats. The foster home he is in at the moment has another border collie and he seems to be doing ok with him but doesn't like smaller dogs. He will need a lot of training and love in the future. Please adopt little Kin!

DSH - male - 8 years and 2 months
Santa Claws' wish this Christmas is to find himself a loving family that will treasure him forever. He is a quiet little fellow with a big round pudding belly. He has a gorgeous tabby coat and cute little white socks, and deep blue soulful eyes that will melt your heart. Santa Claws loves his food, toys, and cuddles, and he is a very playful kitten. He is a little timid when meeting new people so may do best in a quiet, calm environment at least until he is settled. He is looking for a safe, loving, indoor-only home.
Santa Claws will be available to adopt in December, once he is at least 8 weeks old and over 1kg. He is microchipped, litter-trained, vaccinated, up to date with flea and worm treatments, and his desexing is included in his adoption fee. DSH - female - 8 years and 2 months
Merry is a sweet tabby with gorgeous little white socks. She was handed into the local pound as a stray at barely five weeks old. She is a quiet girl that loves to snuggle up to her brother and sister. She loves to eat, play with her toys and sleep.
Merry is looking for a safe, loving, indoor-only home. She would suit a calm and quiet household. Like most kittens, Merry would love another feline, or perhaps canine, friend for company if she is going to be left home alone during the day, but she would be fine as an only pet too as she can lap up all the love and attention.
Merry will be available for adoption in mid December. She is litter-trained, vaccinated, microchipped, up to date with her flea and worm treatments, and her desexing is covered in her adoption fee. Christmas loves her pats, cuddles, food and toys. She would love to be adopted with one of her siblings, but single adoptions will also be considered if you already have a playmate for Christmas at home.

American staffy x - female - 10 years and 2 months
Foster Carer Required: Mara is in temporary accommodation right now, if you can assist by providing her a forever or a foster home please let us know.
Mara is a young girl who is in need of a bigger yard to burn off some energy. She loves water and she's very active and could do with some continued training to curb her enthusiasm for life.
She's ok with some dogs and has lived with dogs in the past, but some dogs she takes a dislike to.
But what a complete sweetheart! This big darling girl is a total sook, and her natural position is on her back so you can scratch her belly. She wants to follow you all over the house and keep you in sight.
She is still a pup and doesn't really know her size. She has not really been trained, so loves to jump on you. We are working on this behaviour at the moment. She seems willing to learn, and is picking up commands quickly. I suspect she will require a firm hand with any new owner. UPDATE: She is now not jumping so much. She is learning to drop and roll over. She loves her treats! But takes them gently, no snatching at all. She waits patiently when her food is down to be told she can eat.
Mara is one of the sweetest-natured dogs I have met. So eager and willing to please, and just wants to be loved. She wants you to be her boss and tell her what is expected of her, and will require a firm hand until she learns her place.

Domestic Short Hair - female - 9 years and 4 months
Cersei Lannister is an elegant, little Queen who came into care heavily pregnant, alongside her brother, Jaimee Lannister. She has been a brilliant mother to her kittens and will be ready to go to her forever home in 2 weeks once she is desexed.
Cersei has proven to be a devoted and loving little lady. She is super-chilled and is not phased by the noises of the vacuum cleaner, kids running around or being picked up and cuddled. While she does prefer to be independent and isn't one for long cuddle sessions, she will often follow you around from room-to-room, meowing and chattering away at you.
Cersei is a pure delight to have around the home! She is brave, friendly and very relaxed. She has been vet checked and has all of her hearing, and will often come up to you for a pat (or preferably a snack!) when you call her.
As she is such a calming presence for her brother, Jaimee, we are asking that she be rehomed in alongside Jaimee Lannister. Please contact us for more information.

He was rescued from a Western Suburbs pound as an orphan at around 3.5 weeks old. He is now looking for their forever home.
He has been 1st Vaccinated, Microchipped, Wormed, Flea treated. He will be desexed as part of the adoption agreement once at an appropriate weight and size at a specified vet clinic.

Domestic Short Hair - female - 8 years and 2 months
Ash came into DCH foster care after finding herself at the pound with her two siblings at a very young age. Ash is the confident kitten of the trio, and it didn't take long for her to make herself at home, and play with the older kittens in her foster carers home.
Ash is a lovely little kitten, who loves playing and snuggling equally. She gets on well with other cats in the household, and doesn't mind her dog housemates. Ash is a confident kitten, but still has some learning to do as she can be very enthusiastic in her play.
Ash is ready for her forever home, and her adoption fee includes micro-chipping, desexing and her 1st vaccination.
A meeting with Ash can be arranged at her foster home located in Bligh Park.
