Larnie
Larnie

Larnie

Tri Collie Rough - female

Larnie came to us from Wyong Pound where she was picked up as a stray and not claimed. She is a typical pup who just loves to play and enjoy life whether it be chewing on a stick or dismantling my wood chip pile or having a tug a war with one of the other Collies over my sock. She gets on really well with other dogs and moves from playing with the younger one up to cleaning the faces of the older ones. She is very affectionate and thrives on attention. Larnie travels well, whines a bit to start but then settles down. I don't know how she is with cats as I don't have one. She will need to go to a home with another active dog as she will get bored on her own with no-one else to get into mischief with.

Larnie is in care at Rydal near Lithgow and a property inspection is necessary before she can be rehomed.

Henry and Peanut
Henry and Peanut

Henry and Peanut

Chinchilla x - male

These two brothers are stunningly handsome, large and fluffy with pink noses and pale green eyes. Both have always been indoor cats and are kitty litter trained. Peanut is slightly larger of the two and is very affectionate. Henry is a little shy until he gets to know you but also loves a cuddle. Both are used to dogs. Being of the chinchilla breed, they need to be brushed regularly or they will get knots. Both seem to enjoy being brushed luckily. Majestic looking cats, they look larger in real life than in their photo. Ideally these boys will go to a new home together.

Henry and Peanut was adopted on 11 November 2011 after 1 month in foster care

Oscar
Oscar

Oscar

Aussie Bulldog - male

Oscar came into care after his owners separated and no one could take him. Oscar is good with my 2 dogs and had never met a cat before until he came here, and he did really well. Oscar is good with my 2.5 yr old son, he walks well on lead and knows sit and shake. Oscar will need to go to an indoor / outdoor home as in the heat bulldogs can and will get overheated. Oscar is like any Bulldog he has a fantatsic personality, he snores loudly, drools and sleeps alot. if you think you can offer Oscar a great home please give me a call.

Is not avaliable for adoption interstate.

Oscar was adopted on 06 November 2011 after 5 days in foster care

Patches
Patches

Patches

Terrier x - male

Patches is fine indoors, sleeping in my sunroom with access to the doggy door for potty and he has not made a mess in the house. He is getting better with recall but still needs training. He is such an affectionate little boy who just loves belly rubs. Patches would do well with another dog in the family for company as he loves the bond of another dog. He is a bit of a chewer at the moment, so hide all slippers and hairbrushes so make sure he has lots of toys to play with!!

He is in care at Burwood.

Bella
Bella

Bella

Rotti x - female

Hello my name is Bella and I'm a 3year old rottweiler cross so that makes me not as big as a pure rotti. I am enjoying the good life now that I am in foster care and I am very layback and really don't do want to much more other than laze my day away in a nice shaded place or do a bit of sunbaking. I am very affectinate and really love attention and getting hugs and pats. When I go for a walk, I don't pull on the lead or walk fast, actually I like to meander along and smell the roses. I am such a laid back girl that when I play with the kids in the backyard I manage 3-4 laps of our townhouse yard and then I have had enough. I know basic commands and will sit, shake and drop on command and will even retreive a ball when playing fetch. If you are looking for a really quiet, undemanding girl then that's me. I'm desexed so my having puppy days are over (thank goodness I've had too many). All I like to do is sleep, eat and sleep some more. My carer lets me come inside and I am also happy to be outside as well, I like it both ways. I sit well in the car and don't fuss, I just go to sleep. With my carer there are 3 kids and 3 cats, which now I know them all we're good friends, yes even the cats. I like to look at the cats with hungry eyes sometimes but I now know not to touch them. I prefer older kids over the age of 8 years because they let me sleep when I want to and don't annoy me like the younger ones. If you'd like to arrange to meet Bella as you think you have room for a super sweet layback girl then make the call. Bella is in care at Whalan
