Midnight
Midnight

Midnight

Staffy x kelpie - female

These two little girls are very quiet, friendly puppies, they have settled immediately with my adult large and small dogs and have ignored the cats. I think they will grow to be medium sized dogs (below knee height) These puppies have been reared by a family with small children and are gentle around them

Midnight was adopted on 20 May 2007 after 6 days in foster care

Gypsy
Gypsy

Gypsy

DSH - female

Special Needs Cat

Lovely natured, smoochie girl who adores people and is great with kids. She is a confident girl and isn't phased by much. She isn't overly fussed by other cats but would make a great companion for anyone looking for a more mature, settled cat.

Gypsy is deaf and while this doesn't bother her at all it does mean she needs to be an inside only cat.

Gypsy was adopted on 18 May 2007 after 8 months in foster care

Jacky
Jacky

Jacky

Cross Breed (Jack Russell size - female

Jackie is a lovely 22-month old cross-breed terrier. She is a beautiful caramel colour and looks like a miniature dingo. She is good with children and other dogs. She needs some space in the yard and enjoys her walks. She is not a fussy eater and likes her chew toys. She is a quiet dog and does not bark unnecessarily. She loves to greet you when you return home- running around in circles and the tail a wagging. Jackie weighs about 4 kilos.

Jacky was adopted on 18 May 2007 after 2 months in foster care

Pirate
Pirate

Pirate

DLH - female

What a spunky little boy. Playful, outgoing, affectionate and cheeky. He is great with other cats of all ages and sizes and loves dogs also. He loves to explore and play but also loves to cuddle and get a belly rub. Once older he will need a light brush once a week to keep his for his long fur tangle free. Kitty litter trained and would fit easily into a new home.

Pirate was adopted on 18 May 2007 after 1 weeks in foster care

Matilda
Matilda

Matilda

Boxer - female

Matilda gets along great with her foster brother Ringo (as you can see above). They love wrestling around on the ground, playing tug-a -war with toys and chasing each ot her. She has been basic obedience trained ( sits, stays, shakes hands, rolls over ) She loves her food. Sleeps outside and is generally a good dog that would suit a family that is keen on having a fun loving, playful companion.

Matilda was adopted on 16 May 2007 after 1 month in foster care

Mr Nice Guy
Mr Nice Guy

Mr Nice Guy

DSH - male

Mr Nice Guy is a perfect lounge lizard (maybe part greyhound!). Mr Nice Guy likes to snooze away and is a great friend for a home looking for the young cat, past kitten stage. Mr Nice Guy has a healthy appetite and a mean purr. He doesn't mind the odd cuddle or a thousand. His name pretty much says it all. Mr Nice Guy will need to be an indoors only feline fellow.

Mr Nice Guy was adopted on 15 May 2007 after 3 weeks in foster care

Silvy
Silvy

Coco
Coco

Coco

Purebred Black Oriental - female

Orientals have the same sleek bodies and wedge shaped heads as Siamese, they make very faithful companions who will reward loving owners with devotion and affection. Like Siamese they are active and some times noisy cats who will hold a conversation with all they encounter as they gallop through life. Poor Coco was handed into the vets for euthanasia as the owners simply didn't have time for her anymore. Luckily the vets persuaded them to surrender her to rescue instead.

Coco was adopted on 12 May 2007 after 2 days in foster care
