DSH - female
These kittens have been hand raised since only tiny babies, they've had the best of both worlds though, with several adult cats in their carers home also stepping in to help mother them as they've grown. So they are now the most beautiful, friendly, affectionate cats who are easy to handle, gentle and litter trained. They are real lapcats and will fit easily into any household.

Collie Rough - female
Keelie is a very energetic Collie Rough so she needs to go to a home with another very active dog to play with as she would be totally miserable in a yard on her own. She needs to be an inside dog when you are home and she is housetrained. She sits quietly until you move and then she must follow you to find out what you are doing. She is very playful and runs around all day with a ball in her mouth to drop at your feet and if you dont pick it up and move away, she picks it up to follow you and drops it at your feet again and when you throw the ball she has this high pitched squeal of excitement that you are playing ball with her and she bring the ball back for more fun time. Keelie is great with other dogs and just loves kids so a busy house with energetic kids would suit her down to the ground. She may suit agility or flyball as she is so fast and has loads of energy to burn. She is excellent on recall as she just wants to be with you. A property inspection is required before she can be adopted.
She is in care at Glenhaven.
Keelie was adopted on 30 August 2011 after 2 weeks in foster care
Medium x Breed - male
Charlie is a lovely natured boy, approx 8 months old now, he is well socialised with dogs, adults and children. He craves pats and cuddles, following at your heals around the house and garden. He would benefit from on going training, but knows how to sit. He loves his food and doesn't mind a game of ball providing you understand when he brings it back a couple of times you don't throw it away again..! (You wouldn't be that silly right?) I have trained him to loose lead walk and he is well behaved in the car, he is very eager to please, though being young doesn't yet understand my other fosters are entitled to get some love from me as well as him. Not sure of his breed mix but probably now full grown height which is under my knee, he is smooth coated. He's got a funny little face, with one ear up and one flopped over and I'd recommend that the insides of his ears and the tip of his nose be protected from the sun in hotter seasons with sun screen to prevent any damage. He is active with the other fosters when they feel like interacting otherwise he is happy to laze the day away with a friend. He needs to be inside/outside and hopefully find an active family that will include him in all their daily life. He is able to be left on his own during the daytime but not for extended periods as he is such a friendly chap he really likes to have more regular company. If Charlie sounds like he'd be right for your family call Karen on 0403 952 900 to arrange to view. He is currently being cared for in Glenhaven.

female
Macy is the largest of the two girls from her litter. She is a beautiful brown leaf tabby, stocky girl with a bob tail. She has chocolate brown coloring under her feet, a black outline around her nose and eyes and almost a perfect 'M shape stripe for Macy' on her forehead. She is very social with humans. She rushes to greet you in the morning, calls out to you when she is looking for you, jumps up on your lap when she wants to smooch and if you are lucky, gives you little gentle nibbly love bites on your chin. If you don't pat her when she jumps on your lap, she taps you with her foot to remind you. At the end of the day she is happy to sit for ages on your lap with her front legs crossed. She enjoys the company of other cats/kittens, large and small dogs so caution must be used when introducing her to new doggie friends as she knows no fear of them. She is a very confident girl who is not afraid of a bit of rough play with her buddy who is a kitten 6 months older than her. She is fully litter trained and clean.
Marcy was adopted on 29 August 2011 after 2 months in foster care

Benny is a cute little puppy who is active, clever, independent, enjoys playing on his rug inside but is also happy sleeping in his kennel outside with his foster sister Ruby. Benny has a lovely brindle coat, is very curious and loves to hide under our coffee table and chew his bone. Benny is starting to learn his name and and basic commands while his house training is coming along very nicely. He is excellent with our two other dogs and with kids so he would be an ideal family dog.
Benny was adopted on 27 August 2011 after 1 month in foster care
