Erica is a friendly girl who has been a fantastic mum to her four kittens. She even adopted another orphaned kitten and raised her as her own.
Now that her kittens are grown Erica is looking for that special family to call her own. Erica is friendly and likes to be patted and loves being given little food treats. She prefers female company over the male variety and especially likes little girls to look after her. Erica enjoys being brushed and scratched under the chin and will curl up next to you on the couch afterwards. Erica loves to hang around the house, but will also head outside to lie in the sun. She's very intelligent, and has learnt to open our back screen door with her paw.
She is available for her new home now.
Erica was adopted on 24 December 2013 after 1 year in foster care

Max is a very handsome, gentle young man. Always up for an adventure, Max and his sister Sunday enjoy running around the house chasing flies and shadows and when they've finished playtime they love nothing better than curling up next to each other, or next to you, for a nap. Max gets along well with other cats and is a real purr machine. He loves cuddles and is easy to handle, he even tolerates the toddler in the family carrying him around the place.

Tucky is a very handsome boy who is currently being fostered by a family with three children. At first he was quite nervous around the kids, however he realised quickly that they aren't that scary. When they get noisy he is more comfortable away from them in a corner somewhere, but when they are calm he will happily sit on their laps for a pat. He is also happy to be picked up by both adults and children and has never bitten or scratched. Tucky has very distinct moods throughout the day - from hungry to sleepy to playful to cuddly. Playtime is mostly in the evenings when he really wakes up and loves to chase around his favourite toy - the pipe cleaner!
Tucky is currently both an inside and outside cat, but always comes back when called and never misses his dinner at 5pm. He is then quite contented to stay in for the night and plonk himself on your lap to sleep. Tucky is litter trained and learning to use his scratching post. He's a lovely boy who is ready for his new home now. He is currently located in Marrickville NSW.
Tucky was adopted on 29 September 2013 after 9 months in foster care

Calli was found dump, pregnant and the vet predicted she was only around 6 months old herself. A nice passerby found her and took her to their local vet where she then came into the care of DCH. Calli was a wonderful young mum to her two babies. Calli is such a beautiful natured girl that she even took on a orphan kitten while feeding her own babies. Calli herself is a beautiful loving girl who adores all people, being picked up and held on your shoulder and lots of cuddles. She will gently head butt your face when picked up and will follow you around everywhere, just to be with you and see what you are doing. Calli has lived with a budgie and never tried to climb the cage or attack the bird. She is currently living with other cats, dogs and a free range pet magpie.
Calli was adopted on 15 October 2014 after 1.6 years in foster care
