Lucy
Lucy

Lucy

DSH - female

Lucy is a cruiser, she loves to wander around searching for new adventures but she also loves to laze around and loves her tummy rubbed and lots of cuddles. She is a little cry baby and gives the tiniest little meow every time she sees her foster mum and dad. She would suit a family who would be willing to give her lots of love and attention and give her lots of tummy rubs. Lucy is litter trained and ready to go to her new family. Enquires are welcome now.

Summer
Summer

Summer

DSH - female

Summer was born in care on 26.9.2012 to a feral cat we trapped. Summer and her brother were the only 2 kittens to survive being born, with their other 3 siblings not making it. She has grown into a gorgeous little girl, full of fun and is very cuddly. She is well socialised with other kittens and cats of all ages as well as 2 large dogs. Summer and her brother Ollie were cared for by their feral mum in our home and when they were weaned, their mum was desexed, ear tagged and released back into her feral (non bush) colony as she was extremely fearful of humans and was unsuitable for re-homing.

Summer was adopted on 20 January 2013 after 1 month in foster care

Ginge
Ginge

Ginge

DSH - female

Ginge lived in a feral colony at a factory unit where she was seen to become pregnant a number of times, but never turned up with any kittens after giving birth. We managed to trap Ginge just before she was to give birth to a litter of kittens which arrived on the 26.9.2012. Only 2 of her 5 kittens survived with 1 getting stuck and taking a very long time to appear, that kitten was still born. When her 5th kitten also arrived still born, poor Ginge cleaned it up, and howled for hours, and kept looking to where the kitten lay not moving. Ginge was an excellent mum to the 2 surviving kittens and cared for them till they were weaned and for weeks after that stage. Ginge was not suitable for re-homing as she never accepted being around humans, so the decision was made to desex and ear tag her and release her back into her colony. Her integration back into that colony has gone extremely well and she will never again have to go through having kittens in such circumstances thanks to DCH ensuring she was desexed before release.

Ginge was adopted on 30 November -0001 after 2013.1 years in foster care
