Shera was abandoned on the side of a road at 3 weeks old. When I picked her up from the pound she was trying to eat solid food but was wearing most of it so after a quick warm bath I offered her a bottle and she nearly drank the whole lot in one big gulp. She is now eating solid food and has even fallen asleep in her food bowl rather than leave it. From a rocky start she is now a most beautiful little kitten, very affectionate, curious, playful, loving and just a delight to be around. Shera lives with my maltese dog, 2 older cats and her sisters and brother, is fully litter trained and is a very unusual colour. You are welcome to come and see Shera at Banksia as she is big enough to be adopted into her forever home
Shera was adopted on 15 December 2012 after 2 weeks in foster care

Precious is a sweet little kitten who was found at 3 weeks old in a box on the side of a road. I bottle fed her for about a week which is really special as I think it makes the kittens more affectionate to people. She is eating solid food both wet and dry and is litter trained, has had her first vaccination and has been wormed. Precious is a dainty little girl who loves a cuddle with me, plays with her kitten toys and her sisters and brother. She is a very loving affectionate kitten who lives with my maltese dog and 2 older cats so she is well socialized and has the run of the house. Precious is old enough and big enough to go to her forever home. You are more than welcome to come and meet Precious and she lives at Banksia

Mango is the only boy with 3 sisters. He was abandoned at 3 weeks and has been bottle fed for about a week until he could manage solid food. He is a little darling who loves to climb up when I am reading and falls asleep under my chin and will stay there for as long as I let him. He also loves to play with his kitten toys and his big sisters. His favourite toy at the moment is the tail of my big old ginger cat. I have a maltese dog and Mango wants to be her best friend, my dog is not so keen but Mango just keeps trying. He is a curious, energetic, loving beautiful little man who is ready to go to his forever home. If you would like to meet Mango he lives at Banksia.

Princess was found abandoned on the side of a road at 3 weeks of age. I bottle fed her until she could eat solid food and started to chew the tops of the teats. Even though she should have been with her Mum I did love getting to cuddle her while she gulped down the milk as if it was her last meal. Princess is doing really well, she is very healthy, loves to play with her toys, is curious about everything and loves to climb up on me for big cuddles and sleeps on my lap. She is eating solid food both wet and dry, uses the litter tray and is just the most darling little girl. You are welcome to come and meet Princess if you need a little Princess in your life she lives at Banksia waiting for her forever home

Bill was found on a farm with his brother Ben where they faced a sad life with what little food they could find for themselves and no human to care for them. When they first came into care they were very frightened but as much as they hissed they never tried to bite or scratch. Bill is now such a friendly boy and loves to be stroked and cuddled and is always ready with a very grateful purr. He is so cute, and rubs around my legs and flops down for belly rubs. I'd have to say that he is one of the gentlest cats with absolutely no clawing or mouthing us, even in play. He purrs when picked up and mostly comes when called, and really loves his food. It's been really rewarding seeing him go from hiding and hissing, to now being like any other cat although I think maybe Billy might notbe suitable for very young children as he still is a tad wary of things and being so non aggressive, tiny little kids might be a little overwhelming for him but he would be fine with older children. Bill has the tiniest little squeak which makes him so adorable.
