Suki
Suki

Suki

Labrador x Kelpie - female

This is Suki who was found wandering the streets of Penrith. She was smelly, very hungry, nameless, no collar, no microchip and ended up a timid and scared waif in the pound. Since in foster care she has come out of her shell and is now a happy-go-lucky puppy easily making friends with people, children and other dogs. Suki is a chocolate Labrador/kelpie cross and has the unmistakeable body shape of a Labrador but is smaller and much finer boned. She has the Labrador ears and tail but with a kelpie face and eyes. Her teeth are very good and she has a glossy coat indicative of a young healthy dog. Suki as a puppy is quite active and until she is about two years old will need a daily walk of at least a half hour.

Although Suki is steadily getting to know her name she will respond and return with a whistle. She is in need of puppy training but she is learning to sit on command and is responding well to house training. She is cat tolerant as she shows no inclination to attack or chase a cat

Suki is very affectionate and loves to be close to her carer as she will be with her new owner. When left alone she will whine for a little while but then settle down to await the return of the owner/carer. Suki is not a barker and is certainly not a fence jumper. She has a sweet, gentle nature with people and very playful in the company of other dogs. Suki would suit a working family.

Suki walks very well on the lead and does not pull, she is content to walk alongside or just behind her handler. In the car Suki usually sleeps or tries to snuggle up against the driver or passenger.

Suki was adopted on 10 April 2015 after 2 weeks in foster care

Milly
Milly

Milly

DSH - female

Milly is a very affectionate little lady. She craves and demands attention regularly. Milly likes to be with you as much as possible and and loves lying on top of you for a nap. She would fit happily into a large family that can give her the attention she needs.

Milly came into the care of DCH from a shelter. She was orphaned and is now residing with her foster mum, one of her siblings Molly and some older friendly foster cats who she likes.

Milly was somewhat underweight when she came into care. She is putting on weight and planning to be ready for adoption as of the 10/4/2015, however may take her a bit longer to get to 1kg because she will probably never be a big cat.

Milly is excited for potential owners to come and meet her; you just might need to be patient waiting for her to be ready for adoption.
Milly's cost of adoption includes; flea and worm treatment, microchipping and desexing.

Milly was adopted on 17 May 2015 after 1 month in foster care

Miss Molly is an easygoing and adorable pony, she's had basic groundwork education so is good to catch, lead, groom and handle. Molly is unbroken so will need to be sent to a professional for breaking in if she's to be ridden or trained to harness, she'd also be well suited as a companion horse.
