This delightful young man came into care with his siblings after they were dumped at 5 weeks of age. He loves humans and purr as soon as they are touched.
He is also very playful and loves to sit on our laps beside the fire.
He and his brother are well toilet trained in the kitty litter box and very clean. This boy has it all, gorgeous looks and gorgeous personality!
Frosty's brother is still available too and they are available together or separately.
Frosty was adopted on 16 July 2015 after 1 month in foster care
Shih Tzu - female
Meet Miss Fergie, a desexed, tri-coloured Shih Tzu, born 10/09/2005 was surrendered to DCH due to her previous owner being very ill and not able to look after her anymore. This sweet girl is initially quite timid when she first meets people but she would make a lovely companion dog as she was in her previous home. Fergie gets on well with other small dogs, loves being inside and close to her owner. She is toilet trained and enjoys a walk, especially on an extender lead. She has a sweet face which would melt any heart. She is a delight to foster and I know she will make a wonderful companion for someone. The outside will need good fencing as she would like to explore beyond her own yard if she can find a way out.
Fergie was adopted on 28 July 2015 after 3 weeks in foster care

Lenny was adopted on 25 July 2016 after 1.4 years in foster care
DSH - male
Storm is naturally gentle (for example, retracting his claws automatically with humans), very well behaved, and loves to play in between naps. He particularly enjoys catching flies. He is fully house trained, and responds well to commands. I think he might need a new name....
He is healthy and happy, but ready for his forever home. He will enjoy and reward your consistency and attention with lots of purrs.
His one problem is that he runs and hides in or under the bed as soon as people come into his home.... He seems to be concerned by the door bell and level of activity, although he is unphased by traffic noise, fireworks, storms etc. outside. This trait means his initial meeting with you may take some time! However, he has been socialised with several people, and he does come out to play with them. During his carer's holiday, Storm had three different sitters who reported he charmed them after his initial reluctance - he enjoys strokes and encourages them with a vibrant purr.
Very comfortable with apartment living, but no doubt would also love a house as he likes to watch the bird life and activity from the balcony.
He is micro chipped, fully vaccinated, and de-sexed.
Storm was adopted on 15 February 2016 after 8 months in foster care

Jasper is a handsome young cat, who was dumped as a very small kitten in the bush to fend for himself. Thankfully someone heard his frantic cries and brought him to a DCH carer where he's been ever since.
Jasper is desexed and microchipped and a good eater, he likes to steal food from his mates so needs watching at meal time, he is also kitty litter trained. He loves to play with toys and with other cats and would be best with another cat who doesn't mind a wrestle, who is energetic but non aggressive.
Jasper must be an indoor cat as he panics when he is taken out of the house and feels more secure inside. He is nervous at first but don't let that put you off, once he gets to know you he settles and will be a loving lapcat. He is such a lovely boy and deserves someone who is patient and caring who will give him the home he deserves.
Jasper was adopted on 01 August 2017 after 1.4 years in foster care
Great Dane x Wolfhound - male
Jay is a very affectionate big boy who loves nothing more than a big cuddle. He is toilet trained and loves to come inside. But he probably should not be left inside because he may start to chew the furniture if he gets bored.
Jay can be a bit shy with some new people but once he gets to know you, he is extremely loving. He walks great on lead with a halti.
Unfortunately, it is very important that Jay does not go to a home with other dogs/animals as he really doesn't get along well with them. This is the reason why we need to find him a new home asap as we have several other dogs that he has grown up with, but now doesn't get along with them at all. His situation is quite urgent.
He is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. For more information on Jay, please contact Brendan.

Tiger is a very sweet and playful boy. He loves lots of cuddles, and enjoys nothing more then to snuggle up beside you for a nap. He eats well, and is not picky with food. He has been slowly getting to know our two toy poodles through a baby gates.
He has had constant handling from my two children, and has proved to be very gentle and loving. He is also very well trained with his kitty litter.
Tiger was adopted on 02 September 2015 after 4 weeks in foster care
Fox Terrior X - female
Hi I'm Princess Daisy-May, an energetic lap dog, who loves attention as much as I love to run. I'm looking for a home with a backyard and an energetic owner who isn't afraid to take me for a run or an extra long walk. I'm asking for a backyard but I really also love to snuggle on the couch and bed. I was a companion dog for my elderly owner who unfortunately passed away 6 months ago and since then I've had a rough trot, but thanks to DCH I'm currently living it up in foster care whilst I wait to find my furever home. If you have any questions about me please don't hesitate to call or email my foster mum for a chat.
Not available for interstate adoption. I am in foster care at Cronulla.
Daisy-May was adopted on 17 December 2015 after 4 months in foster care
