Foster Carer or New Home Needed
Zelda is sweet natured and gentle, and more petite than her brother. She has such a pretty little face, and gorgeous markings with a beautiful fluffy leopard print belly and a fabulous swishy tail. She is quite affectionate and sociable and probably enjoys being with people a little bit more than her brother. She adores her dangly mouse toy, and she loves a cuddle on the sofa. She also enjoys playing with water and watching me in the kitchen. She's not very vocal but has a gorgeous purr.
She enjoys being around people of all ages, and is happy to be handled and comes to greet anyone who comes to the door, but she is also quite happy to be left during the day.
We have primary-school aged children and the cats both enjoy them. Zelda is also especially patient with our smaller nieces and nephews.
She is an indoors cat.
She is desexed, litter trained, and vaccinations and worming/flea treatments are up to date.
She is in excellent health and love a mix of wet and dry food.

Zelda came into DCH care at around 2 weeks of age after her Mum disappeared and left her out in the rain during a storm. The kittens was taken out of the storm and looked after by a member of the public but despite attempts to leave the kitten out for Mum to return Mum never returned after the storm.
Zelda has been hand raised and bottle fed by a DCH volunteer since then. She has eaten well and have put on weight and she has been a great kitten to look after.
Zelda is now ready to find her new home. She is full of energy and full of beans and loves to play. She has had lots of human contact but she is still a little rough in her play as she has not had any siblings to play with.
Zelda purr's quickly and likes to be near you.
Zelda is located in Acacia Gardens 2763.

KEVIN is considering a new home, much to the sadness of his current humans. He is a much-loved sook and larrikin who, despite being very affectionate to his humans, is giving his adoptive sister (another rescue cat) a very difficult time. He would therefore only consider homes where he is the solitary adored pet.
KEVIN is the kind of cat who climbs onto you while you're watching TV and purrs like a little lawn mower. He loves chin rubs, sardines, playing with the red dot on laser pointers, climbing trees or watching the world go by from the balcony. He is an inside cat, but does enjoy an hour or two (daylight hours only) hanging out in our courtyard. It's important to note that we do not live on a busy road, nor do we have wildlife that Kevin can help himself to.
KEVIN would suit a home with adults or children over the age of 7. Younger children would probably scare him. He is particularly partial to Ladies Of a Certain Age, and we have had ladies-next-door stock their cupboards for this little Casanova.
If you or anyone you know is looking for a Kevin in their life, he comes with solid references and a lot of character. We'd miss him so much, but think he and our other cat will be much happier if living separately and would like to offer them that opportunity. Kevin will come with his food bowl, litter box, cat carrier, his bed and laser pointer, as well as a supply of his current food (wet and dry). We are not just looking for a new home for Kevin, but for the right home for him.

URGENT!! Foster Carer Required by 30/6/17 or will have to kennelled. If you can offer a permanent or temp home for Qantas please contact us asap
It's a bird, it's a plane...no, it's the foster-kitty Qantas! Zooming around the house, playing with toys, and wrestling with the other foster kitties, Qantas is an energetic and lovely little male kitty who was born in care to a mother with the most beautiful temperament.
Qantas started off being a little shy when meeting new people but he has turned into a delightful snuggle buddy!! Sit down on the couch and he will clamber all over the couch to get to you, and then will start his little purring-engine while he nuzzles into your neck and headbutts your chin.
He's settling in well with his foster brother and sisters so would suit an indoor home with other pets, or as an only-cat - it's up to you! As a young cat, we are waiting until he is at the correct minimum weight before he is desexed, and his adoption fee will cover this, as well his microchipping, vaccinations and up-to-date flea and worming.
if you would love to have Qantas join your family please contact his foster carer for a meet and greet.
Qantas was adopted on 02 July 2017 after 5 months in foster care

COUGAR was born in care to a mother with the most beautiful temperament, his temperament is proving simliarly loving and adorable. Cougar is the whole package, he loves to play with his brothers but enjoys a cuddle as well.
Cougar is coming up to his "teenage" months and he's proving to be a typical teenage boy - gangly, and a bit uncoordinated, shows no fear (will have wrestling matches with dogs 25 times his own size), loves his sport and his tv viewing and can often be found in front of the computer or with a magazine.
Cougar is very purry and affectionate. He is used to dogs and other cats and enjoys playing with them. He is great with kids and is a real lapcat. He will fit easily into a family home. He is currently indoor only and is ok with that, although he'd be best suited to a bigger home, rather than a small apartment.
Cougar is ready (desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated) and waiting now for your call.
PS Cougar has a bad habit of blinking EVERY time we take a photo, please don't hold that against him!
Cougar was adopted on 02 July 2017 after 3 months in foster care
