Staffy X - female
Laila, was taken in at around 6 weeks old. She is a little shy in the beginning but once she knows she can trust you she is a bubble of energy.
Loves to play and does not like being alone. She loves attention and if you do not give her attention she will beg for it.
She is still very young and learning from right and wrong at the age of 8 weeks training is important as she does like to bite a bit when playing.
We have been using training pads , works most times except of course she poops of the training pads, she will need the ongoing training.
She will already bring the ball to you which is great and will wait excitingly for you to throw it.
She is adorable, she doesn't mind other animals, such as rabbits and cats. She is a little rough with them though, She just wants to play and she doesn't realise how rough she is being.
Shes a little scared of our big dog but she stil plays she just knows she cant play rough with him.
Feel free to ask any questions.
If you are interested, drop by and meet Laila and see if shes a perfect match for you and your family.
Laila will be ready for adoption from 8 weeks so in a week or 2 ( roughly by the 18th July)
Laila was adopted on 23 July 2017 after 3 weeks in foster care

Orion was rescued from Hawkesbury pound on 15th July 2017. I believe her experience there wasn't good as she was extremely frightened and anxious about humans. She is a stunning grey tabby with white paws. Orion loves to play with my 9 month old kitten Hercules and will call for him when he leaves the room. She is playful, up for cuddles and building her confidence every day even allowing strangers to cuddle her for short periods.
Orion is litter trained, desexed and is socialised with older cats plus young child.
The adoption fee of $200 covers desexing and 1st Injection. All kittens in my care receive flea and worming treatment plus lots of cuddles.
Orion was adopted on 23 July 2017 after 1 weeks in foster care
Domestic Short Hair - female
My name is Moxie because I'm only a tiny kitten but I'm brave. I was found at 8 weeks of age and I spent the first few weeks of my life cold, lonely and starving and fending for myself, when my foster carer's two dogs cornered me in the backyard and bailed me up under the garden furniture.
It was scary at first, but with 3 square meals a day and a soft, warm dressing gown to snuggle into, I'm learning that life isn't so bad at all. I am already litter-trained and otherwise no trouble at all. I'm very quiet and still, because I had to be living in the wild, but I love nothing better than settling down on your lap while you watch television and falling asleep. I still get a little bit worried when big people walk into the room, because everyone is SOOO big, but I learn quickly.
I am looking for a gentle person or family who understands that I need a little patience and coaxing to get used to this new life. But I will happily purr away on your lap for hours if you'd like to stroke my lovely caramel-tortoiseshell tabby fur or scratch me under the chin.
I have been fully vet-checked, wormed and vaccinated, am remarkably healthy given my rough start in life, and very calm to handle. I will have my second vaccinations at 12 weeks of age.
If you'd like to prove to me that this world is actually full of warmth and love, please call 0431 645 200 and enquire about me.
Moxie was adopted on 23 July 2017 after 5 days in foster care
Jack Russell Terrier - male
PK is a loving 10 year old Jack Russell Terrier looking for a new home. He is very sweet, affectionate and a classic lap-dog who will happily take as much love and attention as you can give, especially if it's in the form of a belly rub!
He loves a good walk, however he's not your typical high energy Jack Russell and is equally happy to be by your side or snuggled in his bed, as you watch TV. He doesn't mind what you do, as long as you're happy to have him tag around and spend quality time with you. He is a little shy until he gets to know you but really benefits from plenty of attention and reassurance.
Unfortunately we've had to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome him. We work full time and are unable to give him the companionship he deserves.
PK was owned by my parents. My father passed away a couple of years ago and my mother has recently moved into an aged care facility. As a favour to my mother, we adopted him, but as he is used to someone being at home, he suffers from separation anxiety. This normally manifests in him barking and pacing when we leave him at home.
The ideal owner would be someone who is retired or who works from home.
He is a friendly dog, but may find small children intimidating so would suit a family with older children, empty nesters or retirees looking for a loving and loyal companion. PK is an indoor dog. He spends most of his time inside and has been allowed to sleep on the furniture (sofa and bed). Since we've had him, we have trained him not to jump up on the furniture, though sometimes when he gets excited, he forgets his manners. He has lived with another dog all his life, however due to his submissive nature, prefers a quieter doggy companion. He is not a dog who will play with other dogs.
Ideally, he'd be happy to be the only dog so he can have your undivided attention in return for his loyalty.
PK is house trained, desexed and his vaccinations are valid until June next year.
