Mia
Mia

Mia

Cross Breed - female

Mia is the sweetest and most playful girl who loves her belly rubs. It appears that Mia looks was hit by a car prior to ending up in the pound and has a partially healed fracture in the lower leg and her hip is slightly separated, which means she will limp on occasions after a big run around. The vet believes that this will not stop her from living a normal dogs life. She is not any pain and runs around and plays madly just the same as any normal puppy although she will slide out if taking a turn too fast to the right probably caused by the leg being slightly shorter due to the break. She is great with other dogs and loves nothing better than tearing around the yard either chasing or being chased. When she is not in a running mood, she loves a game of tug with anybody who is willing. She is a tough little cookie who likes to play hard but who does not get upset if she is on her own and will often be found either snuggled into another dog or happily lying on her own bed. She is not sure how to behave aroundcats but is learning slowly from a very tough teacher. Currently in care in the Shellharbour area.

Mia has had a rough time since finding herself abandoned at the pound as a young pup. She came into care with a bad case of kennel cough from which she has now made a full recovery after a battle that lasted a few months. She was also displaying odd development of her back legs and was limping, this was perhaps the result of a poor diet as a young pup. Xrays and vet investigations took place and she is now showing improvement. On top of this she has, for the last month, had a urinary tract problem which required further xrays and is currently under special treatment to see if this is a one off problem or not.

Mia's vet fees so far have come to $1,211. If you can help us cover some of these additional vet costs please call Megan on 9627 2767 or email dchanimaladoptions@iprimus.com.au or click below.

Thanks to Lachlan, Betty, Alison, Nicole, Joseph,

Mia was adopted on 08 October 2010 after 8 months in foster care

Jazz
Jazz

Jazz

DMH - female

Jazz is a beautiful cat with the personality to match. She enjoys runningand playing with the other kittens and cats here as much as she enjoyssleeping. Jazz loves a cuddle but is particularly fond of weaving her big, fluffy tailaround your legs in an effort to get a pat or a scratch. Jazz is litter trained and a good eater, whether it's wet or dry food, andis very fond of her cat milk. Because Jazz gets along well with children, other cats and is not fussed bymy dog at all I believe she would suit any home environment where there waslots of love and cuddles on offer.

Jazz was adopted on 05 October 2010 after 2 weeks in foster care

Pebbles
Pebbles

Pebbles

female

Poor Pebbles hasn't had the best start to life being surrendered to the pound at 12 weeks of age.Still, pebbles has already become a family favourite. Her beautiful ginger and white colouring, including her little white socks, makes him a very pretty kitten but it's his big, green eyes that capture your attention. He is still quite shy and unsure of his surroundings but with each day is gaining more and more confidence.Thomas is a small eater and prefers dry food to wet.He is litter trained.Thomas would be best suited to a home where there are no dogs or small children as he doesn't do well around alot of noise.

Pebbles was adopted on 05 October 2010 after 3 weeks in foster care
