Louis
Louis

Louis

German Shepherd x - male

Louis is a very sweet quiet boy who loves children, other dogs and is unphased by cat. He is starting to learn basic obedience training, which won't take long as he is very food motivated.

Louis was adopted on 01 August 2009 after 4 weeks in foster care

Pablo
Pablo

Pablo

Terrier x - male

Pablo is some sort of terrier x but he is quite big weighing 14kg that doesn't stop him from thinking he is a lap dog! He is a very friendly and happy boy he gets on great with other dogs doesn't seem to be bothered by cats and he loves human companionship especially when he is getting his tubby rubbed!! Pablo can get a bit scared if you raise your voice or your arms, but he is slowly learning that no one is going to hurt him, so he would better suited to a quieter household. He would be fantatsic with older children, as he has a bad habit of jumping so he might knock little ones over. He walks great on the lead loves walk time, sits and stays really well, now all he needs is a family of his own to love. Pablo is being cared for in the Windsor, NSW area.

Pablo was adopted on 31 July 2009 after 4 weeks in foster care

Von
Von

Von

Belgian Shephard Malinois - male

Von is a lovely sweet gentle boy, who has spent the last 3 years in a convent where he was given little to no attention at all. Von is a soft natured, insecure boy who grew up quite dependant on his mother who he lived with up until a year or so ago. He can be frightened by loud noices and busy situations such as planes and traffic but as he settles into a routine he is more relaxed. Von doesn't seem bothered by cats but he would prefer a home with no other pets so he can have your undivided attention. Von is suitable for an experienced dog home where he can be given time to build trust with his new owners and to continue his socialisation and a home where he can be inside with his new owners.

Von was adopted on 31 July 2009 after 1 month in foster care

Suki, Sooty
Suki, Sooty

Suki, Sooty

DSH - male

Black and white male: Suki is a quiet girl who is still a little timid, but with some love, she'll be a great little cat. She enjoys playing and is quite cheeky at times.

Sooty

Black male: Sooty is a gorgeous, playful and happy boy. His looks are an exact replicate of his mum and I think he'll be as sweet as she is too. He enjoys sleeping on the end of our bed (just like his mum!) and playing with his brother and sisters.

Suki, Sooty was adopted on 31 July 2009 after 6 months in foster care

Snoopy
Snoopy

Snoopy

Cattle x Staffy - male

Snoopy is a medium sized, active dog who is easy to exercise as he loves to play fetch. He is ball obsessed so would be great for fly ball or agility. Snoopy walks very well on a halti, sits for his food, doesn't jump up and would be fine with older children. He would love to be re-homed with another doggie friend for company although they would need to be able to put up with his sometimes boisterous behaviour. Snoopy is currently living with 2 large desexed males and would ideally be suited to a home with a larger dog for company. Snoopy has a short, low maintenance coat and is the size of a kelpie. He would make a great, active addition to the right home.

Snoopy was adopted on 31 July 2009 after 2009.7 years in foster care

Grover
Grover

Grover

American Bulldog x - male

Grover is a gorgeous boy. Very gentle and kind and loves to be cuddled. Grover however is deaf. We believe had he has some close range hearing, but that is about all. From what we can assess with him he hasn't had a lot to do with other dogs and is only just learning how to play like a puppy.

The biggest concern we have with Grover was him coming into a new environment. He was quite scared Of my yard and other dogs and it took a couple of days for him to settle in. Once he new he was safe then he was ok. He is living with 4 other dogs and is plodding along nicely.

Grover was adopted on 31 July 2009 after 2 months in foster care

Bootsie
Bootsie

Bootsie

DMH - female

Bootsie is the cuddliest of Missy's babies, she is very playful and loves a cuddle. She has gorgeous soft, fluffy fur that looks like it's going to be a bit longer than a short-haired cat.

Bootsie was adopted on 29 July 2009 after 6 months in foster care

Lola and Jasper
Lola and Jasper

Lola and Jasper

medium size x breed - mixed

These two little darling were sadly dumped, under weight and in poor condition. Since being in foster care they have improves greatly and soon with be ready for forever homes of there own. We arn't exactly sure what breed they are maybe Kelpie x?, but we do know they are super cute!! They are currently doing puppy pre school so they are very well socialized with other dogs, people and also cats. They are currently learning to sit, stay, drop, walk on lead and house training which they are picking it up very quickly. Jasper and Lola would make very loyal companions and be a great asset to any family together or separately. They will be available to go to their new homes on the 25th of July, but viewings and enquiries are more than welcome. They are being cared for in the WIndsor, NSW area.

Lola and Jasper was adopted on 29 July 2009 after 1 month in foster care

Alfie
Alfie

Alfie

Terrier x - male

Alfie is a very happy and social little man who has a huge personalitly. Alfie sadly ended up in the pound with know where to call home, so he is now looking for a very special family of his own to love. Alfie is very playful who will happily amuse himself with his toys until someone is free to play with him, he would be more than happy if he had some children, another dog or a dog friendly cat to play with. ( he loves cats!) Alfie is a young dog but he has grown out of the puppy stage, he is learning to sit, stay, drop and toilet training, he is a very quick learner but this will need to continue at his new home. Alfie is going to make a fantastic loving companion. He lives in the Windsor, NSW area.

Alfie was adopted on 29 July 2009 after 1 month in foster care

Ellie
Ellie

Ellie

Chihuahua x - female

Ellie is a gorgeous friendly little Chihuahua. She is great with kids (Due to her size however over 7 years old is best - younger than that can very easily tread on her). She is good with other dogs similar in size, however she seems to prefer a male companion. She does need to be rehomed with another similar sized dog as she seems much happier with a companion in the yard. When she gets overexcited she will sometimes wet herself but this is not often. She's not overly playful with toys, she would like to play with the other dogs but as she is so tiny she tends to get left out (She is fairly active though) She will bark if something is bothering her (She's not yappy just a little girl who will express her opinion when the need calls for it). When Ellie came into care, she had overgrown toenails, flea irritation and some infected teeth. He toenails have been clipped, her back looks lovely again, and her two infected teeth have been removed. Her two missing front teeth don't hinder her in any way, and she still happily enjoys her food including chicken necks, she is a little slower to eat than the other dogs but she does get there in the end. She does tend to like to have your fingers in her mouth, we are trying to break her of this habit, but its hard as because it doesn't hurt at all - actually it kind of tickles) This little girl is gorgeous in looks and would like a home that will appreciate her.

Ellie was adopted on 29 July 2009 after 2 months in foster care
